During the COVID 19 IOM Azerbaijan continues supporting NGO shelters with food, protective and hygiene products
Baku - IOM Azerbaijan continues provision of direct assistance for the victims of trafficking and individuals vulnerable to trafficking and domestic violence accommodated in the civil society organizations’ shelters. Recently the organization with the funds of USAID has handed over food, protective and hygiene products to NGOs’ shelters for children and the victims of trafficking.
Currently IOM Azerbaijan provides technical and financial support to the civil society organizations’ operating shelters assisting potential and actual victims of trafficking, labor force and gender based violence (GBV), supports government institutions in realization of the NAP 4, and supports enhancement of multi stakeholder coordination and institutional cooperation on tackling forms of human trafficking, forced labor and GBV within “Counter - Trafficking in Person (C-TIP) Activity” project funded by USAID.
