IOM Azerbaijan and Ombudsman Office prepared a joint informative brochure
Baku - The Office of Ombudsman of Azerbaijan in cooperation with the IOM Azerbaijan prepared a brochure entitled "Human rights and migration" within the framework of the events held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Office.
Methodical materials systematically reflect information on the subjective rights and duties of natural persons who are participants in migration processes, regulation of their legal status, legal protection mechanisms, and procedures.
This brochure, which aims to effectively inform migrants and prevent violations of migration legislation, was prepared on the basis of international documents, domestic legislation, as well as issues of refugee status, citizenship and readmission, and other official documents.
One chapter of the document contains useful information for migrants about the Ombudsman, as an independent non-judicial legal protection mechanism.
