IOM Azerbaijan hosted students of Baku State University
Baku - On 18 November 2022, IOM Azerbaijan hosted the students of Baku State University. The IOM Chief of Mission Vladimir Gjorgjiev and IOM staff members gave valuable information to the students about IOM's history, principles, its global projects, the role of the IOM in international, regional, and country-level affairs, achievements, international and regional migration processes, and the local projects. The students showed great interest in the locally implemented projects of IOM Azerbaijan such us Counter Trafficking, border management, prevention of irregular migration, community development, return and reintegration of migrants, movement assistance, Regional Training Center on Migration, rehabilitation of subterranean water systems called “Kahriz”, CVAC, etc.
