IOM Azerbaijan supports selected micro business initiatives of youth from different regions
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a UN migration agency, continuing efforts in supporting selected micro business initiatives of youth from different regions within the framework of the USAID/Azerbaijan funded Public Action for Resilience (PAR) Activity. In this regard 5 beneficiaries from Zagatala-Balakan districts were provided with the beekeeping support packages consisting of 20 families of honeybees of bee species known as “Gray Caucasus”, different items and equipment necessary for beekeeping activity and honey production. Zagatala-Balakan region is well known for honey production thanks to favorable natural conditions and the diversity of flora and the valuable qualities of local bees.
