Representatives of IOM Azerbaijan participated to international exercise
Baku - On 5 November 2019, representatives of IOM Mission to Azerbaijan participated to INSARAG Earthquakes Response Exercise organized by Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) in Baku.
The aim of the exercise is to improve the level of professional activity of exercise participants in giving quick reaction to possible emergency situations by state bodies, carrying out search-and-rescue operations timely and effectively, coordinating international units activity and carry out exchange of experience in this field.
