Aghdam hosts UN-Azerbaijan consultations
On 16 March 2023, the high-level strategic consultations between Azerbaijani government and the UN agencies operating in the country were held in Azerbaijan’s town of Aghdam.
More than 35 government and UN representatives, including the Chief of the IOM mission in Azerbaijan, Vladimir Gjorgjiev, participated in the discussions, which centered on the role of restoration and reconstruction of Azerbaijani regained territories, its impact on SDGs in Azerbaijan as well as mine-clearing, its impact on SDGs and other issues.
The event will also feature the tree-planting campaign dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
