Now booking an appointment is mandatory for biometric enrolment at the Visa Application Centre in Azerbaijan
Baku - The Canadian Visa Application Center (CVAC) in Azerbaijan operated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with VFS Global and authorized to provide administrative support services to visa applicants in Azerbaijan continues its work at the address - in the Yasamal District, 23, Izmir str., near the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
The Center announces that since 2 November 2019, booking an appointment is mandatory for biometric enrolment at the Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Azerbaijan. To find out if you need to give biometrics, please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp.
Please note that VFS Global collects personal information from the applicant for the sole purpose of scheduling appointments. Do not include any personal information other than what is required by the appointment scheduling system in emails, webchat, SMS or other non-secure electronic communications. You will be required to complete a consent form.
Please note that an emergency biometric appointment will not affect IRCC’s processing time for the application. For any further information or questions, the Contact Centre is able to assist with any inquiries.
CVAC is the exclusive service provider for the Government of Canada, authorized to accept applications in all temporary resident categories (visitor visas, study and work permits) and travel document applications from Canada’s permanent residents in Azerbaijan.
CVAC is also authorized to provide administrative support services, such as; the collection of visa applications, fees and return of passports in sealed decision envelopes to applicants.
