Representative of IOM Azerbaijan attended an enlightening event within the 16 Days of Activism against GBV
The 16 Days of Activism is here! From November 25th to December 10th, IOM stands united to eliminate violence against women and girls. It's a powerful reminder that gender-based violence is a fundamental violation of human rights.
This year's theme is "UNiTE! Invest to Prevent Violence against Women & Girls." IOM, as a member of the United Nations’s family, is committed to raising awareness and providing support to victims and survivors. Let's actively work towards a world free from gender-based violence by 2030 (SDGtarget 5.2)!
Our dedicated staff, Maria Basserman and Anar Iskandarov, recently attended an enlightening event in Masalli on November 30, 2023. The goal was to spread awareness about VAGW prevention and empower local communities with knowledge on combating this issue at personal and community levels.
Join us in this vital cause! Share your thoughts, experiences, and solutions. Together, we can make a difference!
