Representatives of the International Organization for Migration met with the Chief of the State Migration Service
The Chief of the State Migration Service, Mr. Vusal Huseynov received Ms. Amela Mujagic, Chief of Mission for IOM Azerbaijan, and her predecessor Mr. Vladimir Gjorgjiev.
The head of the service noted that the State Migration Service closely cooperates with the International Organization for Migration in various areas of migration management, and highly appreciated the contributions of the IOM Azerbaijan in the development of relations and partnership.
Emphasizing the importance of joint projects, Mr. Vusal Huseynov noted that two international projects are currently being successfully implemented in cooperation with IOM. The head of the service said that the steps taken for the establishment and development of the Regional Training Center for Migration aimed at strengthening the potential in the field of migration in the countries of the region are an example of effective cooperation between the service and the organization.
Ms. Amela Mujagic expressed her gratitude for the cordial meeting and noted the successful development of existing relations which play an important role in implementing joint projects in the field of migration.
During the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
