The representatives of the IOM Azerbaijan visited the Institute of Law and Human Rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences
Baku - On 6 March 2020, Mr Vladimir Gjorgjiev, the Chief of IOM Mission to Azerbaijan met with Ms Ayten Mustafazade, the Director of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The parties outlined and discussed a range of views for future collaboration in terms of protection of the rights of migrants, as well as other topics related to current situation of migrants at global and national contexts, legislative framework.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of extending the term of the document on cooperation between the Institute and IOM Azerbaijan, as well as new paragraphs that are supposed to be added to this document.
At the end of the meeting, the parties noted that they are interested in mutual cooperation on the topics discussed during the meeting.
